This, so much this! I don't understand why this isn't a bigger issue. The Notwithstanding Clause shouldn't even be in the Charter. It means our rights can be taken away at any moment, and no court can do anything about it. It's extremely dangerous to go down this path.
Pierre Poilievre’s commitment to using the Nothwithstanding Clause is the issue everyone should be concerned about, regardless of party affiliation.
