Is Kilmar Abrego Garcia alive? Because the amount of resistance to addressing his being trafficked gives the distinct impression that either he is dead or what they have done to him is so unspeakable that they cannot afford for him to be freed, seen, or spoken with.

RFK Jr. says there are no autistic poets, so we interviewed one.

Hear from Elizabeth McClellan, @popelizbet.bsky.social, an award-winning poet, attorney, and legal educator based in Memphis, Tennessee.

RFK Jr. is very loud and very WRONG about Autism.

1. It’s not a disease
2. There are thousands of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder who pay taxes, have jobs, can use the bathroom on their own, and are thriving in life.

Well, it is the fault of a political party with a highly detailed written agenda, hiding behind and enabling an unstable demagogue. Members of that party could choose country and constitution at any time.
As the economic news keeps coming out over the coming weeks keep one thing in mind: this is the fault of one man and didn’t need to happen.

This is heartbreaking. Years ago I was one of three young people interviewed for VOA article, and it was a highlight of my life. It was a simple (but imo powerful) piece on what it's like to return to the USA after living abroad. No propaganda, just stories about real American lives. 💔
one thing i do not like about these days is that i am filled with hate for so many people

I understand why people would blame Dems for a shutdown if they opposed a clean CR.
But House GOP put forth a partisan CR. That ignored their party being 7 votes short in the Senate.
GOP trying to have it both ways here, which should leave them responsible.
Surprised the press would fall for this.

When Trump was sworn in, Elon Musk's corporations were under more than 32 investigations conducted by at least 11 federal agencies.

Most of the cases are now closed or likely to be closed soon, and the federal agencies are being defanged by DOGE.

Funny how that works, huh?

Extending the Trump tax cuts for the next 10 years would add roughly $4 trillion to the deficit.

Remember this the next time Republicans try paying for them with cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

The "party of fiscal responsibility" is full of it.
