Ever since the disastrous Citizens United ruling, outside spending on federal elections has skyrocketed.

Swung by the hardware store this afternoon to pick up some stuff to build shelving in my workshop and relied purely on my Dad Senses when selecting lumber; didn’t measure a single thing! Totally biffed it. Wildly inaccurate guessing on my part. Have to go back tomorrow

Stand up, fight back to whatever extent you can. We can't let this administration ruin our great country.

Very grateful I left X two years before this wildfire and never used Facebook or Threads for news.

It’s clear which of my friends still use X by how crazed they are by the bullshit right wingers are spewing. Misinformation is actively harming people who are grieving and also disaster efforts.

If we wait for that, cities will keep burning. There are ways to mitigate risk. www.latimes.com/california/s...

a lesson people oughta take from the rise of bluesky is that buying into anybody's claimed hegemony online is dopey. Facebook didn't used to exist, neither did Instagram or TikTok or any of this stuff. as soon as any platform starts to stink no sentimental attachment is practical or good. bail ASAP
