Several people have asked if MO's 1st Congressional District (the only minority majority district in Missouri) could be dismantled if Section 2 of the VRA goes down.
Given that MO1 was created with the help of Republicans to keep surrounding districts GOP-leaning, I think it's unlikely.

Another thing that has become clear for people in St. Louis over the past year is how much more hate Black women politicians get than other demographics. The way people treated Cori Bush and now Tishaura Jones goes beyond valid criticisms and very much into racist and misogynistic behavior.
