Today my team won an award in accessibility and inclusive design leadership advocacy.

Years of hard work and so many efforts to build inclusively remind me that this work will not stop, no matter what.

Celebrate the win for me today, would you?

📢 Today we joined the March for Science. What happens when federal science programs are cut?

🚨 Tomorrow, we launch a project tracking the real-world impacts of these decisions for all Americans.

Stay tuned.

Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

I wept. What a moment. Can’t find a tougher act to follow than Elizabeth Prelogar, but Chase Strangio absolutely met the moment and crushed it.
I have so much to say about today’s case, legal analysis, and more.

But the most powerful thing today was watching Chase Strangio argue in front of the court as the first trans attorney to do so.

You could feel history, and nobody will ever take that away.

Congratulations to Al the class of 2023! Every year of your college life was touched (or in some cases punched) by the pandemic. You’ve paid an unusual price for these degrees. But they carry unusual honor because of it. Love you all!! 💕

Professor Cynthia Lee is a brilliant Computer Science educator, and is an even better person.

Her work has increased the number of underrepresented Stanford students that are academically and technically prepared for tech roles, and indirectly increased the number of prepared HBCU students too. ♥️🙏🏿
