The wind was wild, and Coo’s spirit wilder. Her fringe blew sideways, her tail did its own wee dance, and she stood, completely unbothered.
She’d tried to be neat and tidy - all she was “meant” to be.
But today she let go.
‘I’m not a mess,’ she said, ‘I’m windswept and wonderful.’

Don't talk to clouds. They are liars and regularly dissipate rather than answer difficult questions. I asked a cloud if it was following me and in reply it started to rain. I am planning to sue, but I have had difficulty finding a meteorologist who will take on the case.

Acrylics on Clayboard
Tigers are one of my favorite animals
This one is only 5"×7" but it took forever because I scratched in each hair individually. I also have joint issues, so I can only work in short stints. I'm proud of myself for completing it, though!

Process art by Chloe

This was all her idea. She brought the materials and just began creating with zero prompting. She proceeded to let go of her creation after she finished it. This process repeated a few times. There were always more flowers or leaves to begin again.

I love being a human artist and creating something never before seen, out of my mind’s eye. I love making every decision with care. I love trying and failing. I love noticing mistakes and fixing them. I love it all.
