This is soooooo true.
You say this as if it isn't the main way to set up strategies that actually work for you.
Stop trying to willpower these things. Just make it more inconvenient to impulse buy things and you will do it less. Seriously. That's the trick.

One thing about having unmitigated ADHD and being fat and lazy as hell is that I can avoid impulse buying games merchandise bc my wallet is downstairs and I'm not Spheal rolling my ass downstairs to get my credit cards.

I have a ticket for the Jinks and DeLa Holiday Show!! I'M SO EXCITED!
Last time they came here, I couldn't go because I had covid 😩😩 (I had a VIP ticket that time, and I couldn't go, and I was SO crushed.)
Now to get myself vaccinated in order to increase chances of not being sick this time...

Working memory is a major barrier for people with ADHD. It's more prone to being erased, overwritten, or overwhelmed.

I dunno for real why I chose such a ridiculous Halloween costume (Princess Peach, but as a serial killer) but I'm sure glad the girls at the store helped me figure out how to make that happen 🙌
