Israel's attempts to destroy or weaken Syria would mean a return of Russian forces to key positions such as Tartus Port, where it could continue to smuggle oil and stolen Ukrainian grain to fuel it's war of invasion in Ukraine. The attack on Syria is a direct threat to Europe.

A country with a low GDP whether in absolute or relative terms should not be investing more internationally than domestically. capital outflows are highly questionable. It’s even more troubling if the returns on those foreign investments are not reinvested back into the domestic economy.
