at a film festival years ago i saw an amazing weird movie i forgot the name of. i had accepted my fate of never recalling the name until today when an ad flyer in a 2006 dvd i just bought led to me finding the film again (and finding out that it has a physical release as well). i love physical media

... Please, I'm begging y'all, don't use the term "lost media" to describe anything that's not on a streaming service. It's a term with a distinct meaning and usage.
When something was released on DVD, and is readily available in The Usual Locations (TM), it's the exact opposite of "lost."

i really struggle with getting into new vkei bands. i know the frequency of disbandments isn't new, but it feels like all the bands i start to get into break up with at most one album released.
