Last year, an author mentioned my shop on her substack. It changed my income so drastically that this is the spike of orders from that *one* mention last year. Word of mouth for an artist can change everything.

Bluesky December 2024.
An illustration of what Bluesky looked like back in Febbruary 2024, having many users but still a small number compared to other sites online. There is a fox in the middle with his baguette, few birds wandering arround in a vast white space. Things seems good and not busy. An illustration showing how Bluesky is to this date (December 2024) The white space is totally filled with blue birds, the fox in the middle is surprised by such a huge influx of new users, the baguette slowly dragged down, almost off screen. Bluesky grew a lot, going from hundred thoushands to millions in few months.

A couple years ago, I captured a pretty cool phenomenon that I didn't even know existed until I did some digging afterward. This here is an "above anvil cirrus plume." Explanation, with a comparison to a simulation below! 👇

Deep in the forest at night, a tree elf appears. its face like a child, wears clothes made of leaves, and the branches on its hair are decorated with flowers, but its body is covered with spikes.Little animals are scared and hiding behind cats in adventure outfits.And the blue-light butterflies are flying around the elves.
