Made myself a little color palette picker for my graphic novel! 🎨
At first, I used CSP's built-in color palette, but I found this method much faster. Plus, it automatically converts my tool into a color picker when I tap inside the sub view!

If you're printing a comic with color, make sure to work in CMYK mode! I made the mistake of coloring in RGB and soon discovered some of the colors I used looked dull when converted for printing.
Clip Studio now allows you to preview your work and color wheel in CMYK mode. It's so handy! 🎨

Highly recommend this book for any artist that wants to create comics/manga!
It's called "All Faces" and includes 24,908 faces from One Piece panels. It's a great study tool to see character faces at different scales or as inspiration for expressions.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to draw what you love when making a graphic novel. If you're making 100+ pages, might as well enjoy it. Even if you can't, incorporate things you love. For me, I've been watching a lot of chateau renovations so of course, one of my characters lives in one.

All school scenes and soccer scenes are officially done for my graphic novel!! 🎉🎉🎉
Although the soccer scenes were time consuming, they were a ton of fun to draw and awakened a love for drawing action which I never expected. Classroom scenes on the other hand... 👀

I'm sorry I keep reblogging 😞. I had to pay my thoracic surgeon for being on standby & I haven't been able to make any commission sales; inprnt won't pay me until a month later, throwing my hat in and depending on donations because I've had no income for the last two months whilst at the hospital.
Please help me rebuild my life after a major operation ): (total thyroidectomy). Everything I received from my gofundme has been exhausted by my surgeon fees, and now I still have to take calcium supplements, gauzes, cleaning supplies and thyroid hormone replacement
