Making a version of Animal Farm that's not "overtly political" is so self-defeating. It's like adapting To Kill A Mockingbird without any mention of racism.
Andy Serkis has remade Orwell’s stark fable ‘Animal Farm’ — only he says he’s made it ‘accessible’ (as though it wasn’t already), not ‘overtly political’ (could that have the slightest value?), and ‘suitable for a modern audience’ (his version has a happy ending).

Don't even get me started on the arbitrary line drawing between what is acceptable sexualization of animal characteristics vs what makes you a zoophile. Lines which always seem to be drawn around what the person opinionating personally likes.

A lot of the account labelers suck in the exact same way too, like I tried an "anti zoophile" one a while back and then realized it was unfounded horseshit/ someone literally trying to paint everyone they trivially dislike online as animal rapists without evidence
