NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

Update: I reordered the item, it arrived at the local shipment center, and after several delays it still couldn't make it the last 10 miles to my house. So I canceled it again and ordered it from a competitor. This is an item Amazon makes and sells, that I had to go elsewhere to get.

Epic fail.
I've been dealing with Amazon over a shipment issue, and it really is something how customer service, especially with companies that pride themselves as being tech based, has become purely transactional.

I was walking in to work today from the parking garage and witnessed two guys across the street almost come to blows, and I don't think it can be overstated just how triggering that kind of public violence is.

This right here.
If your company has work that can be done from home but requires people to come in, that's a failure of leadership, not proximity.

What we consider serious must be redefined. 'Women's issues', like sexual abuse, are not actually considered serious. If they were, the world would be unrecognizable. Even though 'women's issues' are often the subtext of war, economies, politics and other subjects that are treated with gravity.
It all would have been much easier if, as would have happened if we were remotely a serious country, it all ended with the Access Hollywood interview.

This right here. I register as a Dem in NY but vote WFP. If I register as WFP then I can't vote in the Dem primary.
Hey, a lot of people are talking about changing affiliation from Democratic to Independent.

Let me tell you why you shouldn’t do that in Colorado.

One of the main ways to get a primary challenge candidate on a ballot is to caucus for your party. You need to be registered as a Dem to caucus.

Lots of hard, shitty lessons being learned from this presidency. And one of the many I hope you're learning is, white supremacy is incompatible with reality, and cannot exist without historical revisionism.
1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️

Amazon, if you were a seller on eBay, I'd be giving you 3 stars for reliable delivery these days. You used to be pretty good, but over the last year it has gotten to the point where I am now questioning what I'm actually paying for with Prime. I mostly go elsewhere now.

Untrustworthy. Epic fail.
November 8, 2025 at 2:33 PM
Is it me, or has Amazon shipping gotten markedly worse? It used to be that they were pretty good at meeting their estimated delivery date, and now it's basically hit or miss. Absolutely no level of trust in the estimated delivery day anymore.

Enshittification is a demonstrable thing :-(

The solution to one party saying they hate half of America isn't the other party seeking common ground with that party. It's the other party saying they want a better America for everyone, and anyone who agrees should vote for them.
I will never understand the pundit obsession with getting Democrats to solve "political division."

Not only is this what they're already doing, but Klein admits that Republicans will never do the same. So elections will remain constant GOP smears and simping Democratic promises of bipartisanship.

It occurs to me that one of the horrors of being stranded on a remote island would be not having a toothpick if you needed one.

And the laptop battery will last longer :-)

About a third or so longer in my experience.
There's no real learning curve involved. Linux Mint or Ubuntu will have a full suite of MS Office compatible apps (just with different names) and your machine will run faster than it does with Windows.

When a system is put under intense stress, it is difficult to foresee where and when it will break, but I'm pretty sure the Feds arriving in NYC in force is going to be one of those break points. NYrs are a fierce bunch and they will fuck shit up if the Feds come at them.
Marvelous piece by @hamiltonnolan.bsky.social on #ICE’s recent arrival in NYC: “You’re coming to persecute immigrants—in New York City! Where do you think you are? Who do you think built this place? Who do you think lives here?” 💯 www.hamiltonnolan.com/p/ice-vs-nyc

The feds will not have a good time here.

Having installed Linux Mint on three laptops now, my back-of-the-envelope analysis so far is about a third or more extra battery life over Windows 11. And that's with no tweaking of power management other than just using the basic power saving mode.

The thing to understand about Microsoft is that it didn't suddenly become shady with the Copilot bs. Microsoft has been shady literally from its inception. Bill Gates tricking IBM over DOS for the IBM PC is legend. Windows became ascendant due to shady licensing agreements.

I finally got around to installing Linux Mint on my travel laptop, a 2019 vintage Huawei Matebook, and my battery life went from about 6 hours on Windows 11 to 10+ on Mint.

The hardest part of the install was convincing the bios to boot from a usb. Otherwise flawless.

Feeling the need to resurface this post I made a few months ago. I've said the most dangerous point in the Trump regime will be when he understands he can do whatever he wants without restraint, and it is quite possible that this is where we are now.

This is the end game if so.
The problem with an openly criminal regime can be summed as follows:

One measure of a failed state is the inability to enforce the law of the land, generally understood as exclusivity of violence. The state, and only the state, reserves the right to inflict violence on the citizenry.

If being against a guy with a Nazi tattoo makes me a purist I guess I'm an anti-Nazi purist. If you think that makes me an anti-Nazi single issue voter, you're wrong, but also it's a pretty good single issue.

There is more than a year. Go get another real progressive who doesn't have a Nazi tattoo.

Maybe remind Mr. Roy who it was that pulled the trigger.
Chip Roy: "The truth is the marxist, radicals, and Islamists the Democratic Party promoted this weekend, they cannot handle the truth. The truth is that there is a king and that king is Jesus. And the president has been willing to say it, & Charlie Kirk was willing to say it & he got killed for it."
