“I miss who I was before Trump came in to office. I hate waking up every morning with a sense of dread & rage. I miss the country I thought we were. I miss not being filled with so much hate.
I miss peace & civility.”

Change will come if Democrats lead voter registration drives now!

If inflation comes up at the dinner table, don’t forget to draw attention to a deeper structural driver of high prices: corporate power.

Much of the food industry is dominated by a few corporate giants with the power to keep prices high because they face little competition.

The Democratic Party needs to start registration drives and train people to run for office.
BIG redistricting news out of Indiana:

State Senate Rs say that they do NOT have the votes to redraw maps, and thus will NOT convene in December to do so.

Stay vigilant, Indiana Dems.

Who knows what they’ll pull.

But right now this is looking like a HUGE win.

Research shows cities in red states are more dangerous. St. Louis, Memphis, Kansas City, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Atlanta have higher murder rates than Chicago.

WBEZ has reported that Chicago this year saw its fewest summer murders since 1965 — even as Trump continually slammed the city’s crime.

The factional grifters will hate this, but the Mamdani-Spanberger-Sherrill axis actually suggests the outlines of a broad, emerging Dem coalition organized around both anti-Trump *and* affordability politics, not a party bitterly divided against itself.
These big wins will embolden Dems to take on Trump's lawbreaking and show there's a price for GOP enabling of him. Folks hate to hear this, but normal patterns are asserting themselves: Liberalism isn't dead, Rs are likely to lose in 2026, and Trump is really unpopular, not a magical exception.
