there was a big ol' chunk of wealthy gay money that was going in for gay marriage that disappeared from queer rights groups the moment SCOTUS ruled in our favor. they had a lot of interest in getting gay marriage, and pretty much no interest in any queer rights after that.

Oh absolutely not. I used to have to be drug tested every 4 months or so when I traveled for work and they would be questioning this if I turned it in
Every probation officer who does random drug testing knows how absurd this is.

I'm beyond words. A second-gen child of a Venezuelan migrant, an antiracist activist who was willing to risk his life for the people in his community — he ends up getting shot by white, armed peace police who work with cops at a protest organized by a PAC.

I know cruelty is the point but… man this one is just especially ghoulish. They say they’re doing this to “protect the kids” but it’s always been so painfully obvious what the truth is. The want trans kids to die, to disappear, to be erased.
