Today I paid my respects to Aussie soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for the country I hold dear. Tomorrow I will do the same for the Canadian soldiers.
I can only imagine the incredible heartbreak of every mother who had to say goodbye to their brave sons.

In previous years I’ve brought my down jacket from Canada to wear inside my parents’ house because they don’t turn the central heating on until it’s night. I did not bring it this year thinking you know, Australian summers are very warm but come on it is 5 degrees in my room rn.
