British cartoonist RE Burke was detained by ICE in Seattle WA and held for 19 days. She previously traveled in USA in 2023 on same Visa with no issues. She is home now. Her family thanks all who helped their daughter. Her treatment at the Tacoma detention facility was dehumanizing #Voices4Victory
The full statement from the family of R.E. Burke clarifies that there were no grounds whatsoever for the British cartoonist to be detained by ICE for almost 3 weeks – she held a valid ESTA, had broken no rules or laws in the US, and was ready & able to return home.

This is not a counterpoint to Don who does incredible work, but we need to stop discussing DOGE in the context of efficiency.
DOGE is a foreign invasion intends to cripple the US government's ability to do anything which doesn't benefit billionaires. The rest is branding.

One thing everyone should understand is that DOGE has created the least efficient conditions for government I've ever seen.
*The working conditions are chaotic.
*No clear sense of who works there.
*Routine processes have been stopped.

*People are incredibly demoralized.
