Republicans might have finally successfully defunded everything they wanted to on account of not being able to fund anything at all.
Congratulations to American voters for giving Republicans control of the House so they could endlessly fight with each other, do nothing of substance, and be so dysfunctional that Congress is shut down during a global crisis and they can’t even agree upon a Speaker.

KOSA likely wouldn’t survive a first amendment challenge to my knowledge, but it is ridiculous how many politicians continually try to codify censorship.
NEW: The Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) has faced criticism from advocates who say Republican politicians could weaponize it to target LGBTQ+ content. But the ACLU, EFF, and Fight for the Future said state AGs could also use it to censor info about abortion.
