Head Start is the most successful federal program in our nation providing comprehensive early childhood education. As a Head Start alum, I know the value of this program. If we are to address child care we must expand access to all families in need, not just through the private sector.

In the end, local PDs - whose officers live in the neighborhoods being terrorized - will choose their neighbors over fascists.
