I've spent Thanksgiving week with lots of family, introducing my nephews to Star Wars movies and to roleplaying games, watching movies I've missed, and eating amazing food.
It's been a great trip and I'm grateful for all the awesome people I have in my life!

I've been thinking a lot about getting back on Instagram because an unreasonable number of people are still using it, but everytime I log in to the AoA's official account I see just how much it bombard users with advertising and slop, and then I'm like, "...no, I'm good actually."

It's hard to express how much it hurts that the USMC has thrown away its reputation, and in a VERY short amount of time.

There's lots of people to blame for Trumpism, but I think Aileen Cannon will be the person the far future remembers as most at fault for enabling all of the atrocities to come.

It's a noble goal to strive for better logical consistency: in our lives, personal principles, laws, etc.
But it needs to be moderated by contextual awareness, global comprehension, and even innovative ideation.
Ultimately we are human, and to be human is to be full of inconsistencies.

The card game I've been developing for the past many months is coming along really nicely; seems like the rules are about 98% ready to be locked in.
Still need more playtesting to be 100% certain, but it's getting close, and the game is feeling very fun in its current form!

The point is that it's time to stop playing *this* particular strategic game, and start playing the *following* strategic game.
