Yeah, the US has been at a secret war in Venezuela for some months now. Likely since the DoJ put a bounty on the head of Venezuelan President Maduro. (I can't believe I just typed that last sentence).

FYI: shadow hearings are unofficial public meetings to hear testimony and document abuses. Dems have to do shadow hearings because Republicans, who control the committees, won't call for official hearings to discuss what ICE is doing. I document them for this reason. These meetings are evidence.
