Most entrepreneurs hate competition. You don't make money in competitive markets, you make money in monopolies. That's why these mergers being approved for bribes is such a disaster for our country. Firms aren't incentivized to create healthy markets, it's actually the opposite.

The reason I'm optimistic is simply the truth and evidence is on our side. The reason I'm concerned is this is about to get so much worse before we can start rebuilding. But a reckoning is coming against the Republicans with general opinion.

Really disheartened by the attacks against Graham Platner. He's far from perfect but if we hold Democrats to a standard that Republicans don't abide by, we lose. Fuck the corporate media attacking him and letting Republicans get away with literal murder.

I've been feeling a bit down lately. Life is stressful. It feels like we're actively losing our country to a serial fraudster. And critical thinking is becoming less desired. For the first time in as long as I can remember, I feel like people are actively hostile to the truth.

The destruction of the East Wing really bums me out in a way that I wasn't expecting.
I guess some of it is about the destruction of history. But I think it's mostly about the feeling of helplessness. There's nothing we can do to stop him.
