Finally getting around to finishing an optional work project that I started during COVID: recording content videos for every lesson in my curriculum. I’ve had 7 of 8 chapters done since 2022. Got 3 videos recorded and posted for Chapter 8 yesterday. Excited to finally finish in the next few months

I’ve definitely been diving deep into reading comic books. Also have gotten back into playing Pokémon Go. It’s been nice to read news and specifically politics a bit less.

I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

On another note, I’m thankful for all the rain today. We got a lot of projects done at home. Feeling more organized and had some time to bake some bread. Always a good day!

This @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social video is absolutely INCREDIBLE. The numbers he cites, the strategy and results they produced — it’s the future. When have you heard *any* campaign talk about this, ever? (Video split in 2 to fit in Bluesky’s limits)
