Apparently it’s a crime to remind military members to follow the law and refuse illegal orders (something that it is ingrained in basic) and the pentagon can recall you into the service to discipline you. However, the pentagon will not prosecute you for dodging the draft five times.

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 95th day out of the last 107.

12 days of work in 107 days.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

I understand why we shut down American airspace for a few days after 9-11 to avoid a repeat attack but imagine shutting down American airspace to avoid releasing the Epstein files.

Autism is not a "disease" or "epidemic".

Autism has a strong genetic component.

There is no evidence that vaccinees or Tylenol cause autism.

Access to autism diagnostics have dramatically increased as reported rates increased.

Neither Trump nor RFK Jr are scientists or medical professionals.

Gupta: It is safe. That’s what the best-quality research shows. And how irresponsible, using the podium of the WH to put this out there when you’re not even offering an alternative. That is dangerous. An untreated fever is dangerous. Untreated pain in pregnancy is dangerous.

Tylenol does not cause autism. Believing in pseudo science and listening to non experts is the cause of gullible idiocracy syndrome.

Science doesn’t care about your gut beliefs or if you own a company that sells supplements. Science is a powerful tool 'cuz it requires peer-reviewed, double-blind testing & statistical validity. Otherwise, it’s easy to be fooled with wishful thinking, a recipe for disaster.

Political violence is bad. It usually begets more political violence.

Celebrating political violence is bad. It usually encourages more political violence, against various targets.

Campus shootings are bad. They make everyone on campus less safe.

It's bad that what I wrote here is controversial.

Can we just put forward a bill saying a sitting or former president can be tried for crimes committed against a minor?

Let’s see who votes against it.

The future is a web of branching paths, and each choice opens up new possibilities as it closes others. This is as true for a civilization as it is for an individual. The more our collective intelligence can inform each choice, the better our chances of finding paths through to a beautiful future.
