I've been watching this Falcons game while polishing off tomorrow's newsletter and the rundown for the live podcast at noon and, uh, yeah.

7.3 yards per play and only 14 points is infuriating, and it's almost all self-inflicted.

Just start over with a new coach - this culture's off beyond repair

Just finished talking to new #Braves outfielder Mike Yastrzemski for his introductory presser (virtually)

Says the differentiator between offers was the organization's "strong commitment to constantly trying to win a championship"

After hearing about several failed pursuits of top talents, most of who go on to sign larger deals elsewhere, do the Atlanta Braves need to update the way they approach free agency?

Listen, the load bearing amount of caffeine I consume daily is pretty much the only thing I have left to look forward to in life so over my cold, dead hands
Cafes across the U.S. are embracing the low- and no-caffeine lifestyle, with options that are a far cry from dusty tea bags and rewarmed decaf. nyti.ms/3XKlqoj

#Braves have taken OF Carter Howell in the minor league portion of the Rule 5 draft from the Giants.

2022 UDFA, can play all three outfield positions. Hit .248/.327/.365 across the last two seasons, both in Double-A.

Gwinnett had ONE outfielder on their roster before today

The Atlanta Braves have kept RHP Blake Burkhalter and their other Rule 5 eligible players; none were taken among the 13 players selected.

I predicted they'd win this gamble at the protection deadline and they did

Per reports, the Atlanta Braves have checked in on Willi Castro.

In 2024, +3 OAA at shortstop in 466 innings. That's likely the angle here - he's another potential shortstop option if they can't get a deal done with Kim, as well as more utility insurance if Dubón ends up being the everyday SS
