This is nearly $900 million that news entities have had to pay out for publishing lies about the 2020 presidential election. Yet Donald Trump, who lost by more than seven million votes, keeps repeating the Big Lie and makes it compulsory dogma for his employees.

Not only that, but plenty of countries make it a hell of about easier to vote than we do, including offering mobile voting (with roving teams that visit the disabled or infirm) and, y’know, public holidays on Election Day…

Duolingo's CEO has been vocal about replacing human staff with trash AI that's more likely to get translations wrong and make your learning subpar.

Stop using Duolingo. Uninstall it. Leave comments and reviews that you'll come back once they put people first again.

This is insane. If you wonder why some of us think the rule of law is about to fall, it's this.

The U.S. Attorney for DC is not "President Trump's lawyer" and its job is not to "protect his leadership" nor prosecute people who "refuse to put America first".

I have a friend whose dad owns a company that was getting audited by the IRS. he removed all the chairs from the entire building and made the IRS guy walk across the street with boxes to do the audit if he wanted to sit down. Needless to say the audit didn’t last long.
I sincerely don’t know why people aren’t physically stopping those dorks. Move shit. Lock doors. Lose the keys. Everyone switch seats. Turn off all the lights. Switch the signs on the elevator lobby. Make the settings all silly. Use a different language. Wear costumes. Fill rooms with balloons

My students were wondering today why both Hitler and Mussolini targeted unions. This. This is why.
A federal judge paused the bullshit deadline given to 2 million+ federal employees. (They were told to decide by the end of the day whether to resign or stay in their jobs in order.)

The workers’ labor unions challenged the legality and are vigorously fighting back www.usatoday.com/story/news/p...
Trump's buyout offer for federal workers paused by judge hours before deadline
Unions representing many of the nation’s 2.3 million federal workers charge that the administration’s “unprecedented offer” violates the law.

Make every day Caturday at the fascist’s office. 🐈
Anything they want, hide it or mislabel it. Anything they plug in, unplug it. Remove light bulbs. Move cubicles around so they hide some of the doors and when they leave the room move them again so they hide different doors. Play really loud music. Think like a cat and sabo tabby yourself a mess

Weird how not a single one of the newspapers and magazines that have been breathlessly churning out "cancel culture" thinkpieces for the past four years have managed to use the word "censorship" at all to describe the most rapid and comprehensive campaign of mass-censorship in recent US history.

is it good or bad that a billionaire oligarch with close ties to foreign dictators is currently downloading the most sensitive information the us federal government has about its citizens to his own private servers?

I do not recall a 24 hour or one week news cycle with more disturbing news about the state of the presidency and the US government in it than those of today and the past seven days. January 6 was nothing compared to this. But make no mistake, this too is the gov't being torn apart by a mob of thugs.
