It’s been nearly 3 years since I sewed anything, but with the impending (expected) closure of my local Joann Fabric, a bit of a chaotic day, and some babies due soon, it was time to pull out my machine and whip up a couple receiving blankets 🧵🪡

To introduce myself - I’m originally from California and moved to Wyoming for college, met my husband, and never left. We have 2 small humans, 2 dogs, a sassy cat, and 13 (surprise) ducks.

In an attempt to be more mindful and aware of my phone use, I’m trying to spend my last hour before bed finishing one of my knit/crochet WIPs and watching actual tv shows. As such, I need recs! I’ve loved Bones, Royal Pains, Bridgerton, Reign, Greys, GBBO, and others… not huge on suspense or horror
