This is freaking amazing. Fantastic materials. If we had this for every issue were fighting right now there would not be such bewilderment every time a weird new issue comes up, like Alcatraz or beagles at NIH.

Too many folks are saying the United States is headed back to 1930s Germany when history tells us that a lot of what the Nazis learned, they learned from Post Reconstruction US.
They learned from the Jim Crow South.

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

This. I'm so tired of the blame game. If you aren't trying to fix things, work with someone who is. And keep the "you're doing it wrong" thoughts to yourself.
Instead of saying “you’re doing it wrong” maybe try asking “Can you help me with this idea I have?”

I am wondering if Elons minions will destroy or open up the closed records files of Americans related to Nazis. I could see it going either way - them being "proud" of it or wanting to "erase" the connection.

So my data backups are data I think is most vulnerable. Native American censuses and photos. Going through my files for anyone not of Christian evangelist and backing up source files. Border state genealogies closest to Canada.

Watching the American Lens special about Fannie Lou Hamer, it makes me wonder why a certain portion of the left never kept up the "Freedom Democratic Party". It seems like it had an ideal platform. Maybe we need to remake it today!
