There's A LOT of misinformation about animation, especially Disney's animation, online. On tumblr, this post floats around suggesting that the big studios gave up on 2D because it's more unionized than CG or whatever, and you can tell whoever wrote that KNOWS nothing. That's NOT why it happened.

This is what I mean by some online lefties looking for sinister things and intentions where they are simply NOT there. If we can't tell actual bad things in history from the things that actually happened for other reasons, then we make ourselves look like the stereotypical lib Fox News whines about.
