The weirdest part of how being in Congress melts your brain is how people say things like this or “I voted for the bill before I voted against it” with a straight face.
Murkowski just told reporters that the bill That She Just Voted FOR isn't any good and that she wants the House to make changes and send it back to the Senate -- "My hope is that the House is gonna look at this and recognize that we're not there yet"

Can you imagine the sheer cruelty of looking at America right now and saying we should raise $1.2 billion by raising taxes 27% on people making under $15,000 a year — so that we can cut the taxes of people making over a million by a token 3 percent?! The cruelty astounds.
The Joint Committee on Taxation is up late and busts out this striking distributional analysis of the Senate bill on taxes:

This country is becoming unrecognizable. What we’re seeing is state-funded fear. We’ve warned people: keep filming, go live on social media so these moments are documented and shared. This wasn’t a case involving masked ICE agents—but that’s happening too.

I am pissed. If you want change, you talk to smart people who can come up with better solutions. Which is why I ask questions on here
When we come up with better solutions , it makes the guy in the WH look bad and hopefully gets people to rethink who they support

Insane.
