Here's more data behind that generational gap in representation. While 38% of Democratic voters are Millennials/Gen Z, they make up just 11% of Congress—and 0% of House leadership. Baby Boomers are 30% of voters but 67% of leadership. The party's power structure is detached from its voting base.
