The Portland Hearts of Pine had scoring chances on Saturday. That wasn't a problem. Capitalizing on those chances were the problem.

ICYMI: The Freeport girls lacrosse team attains perfection, beating undefeated Mt. Ararat, 11-9, to win its first Class B title and second championship in three years.

The Falcons (17-0) are the only undefeated lacrosse team remaining in Maine, boys or girls.

Later this afternoon, the Mt. Ararat baseball team will try to win its first regional title since 2004. These four pitchers are a big reason why the No. 1 Eagles have a good shot against No. 3 Bangor.
