In my opinion, "transphobia" refers in common parlance at least 3 different things that are nonetheless linked:
- An active hatred of trans people, either ideologically driven or not
- Feelings and attitudes that otherize trans people
- Social mechanisms by which trans people's lives are made harder
- An active hatred of trans people, either ideologically driven or not

tbh the stark reality is that for nonbinary gender existence to gain much stronger mass traction among the public, it's basically imperative that people also 'allow the body to be nonbinary' i.e. question sexing of the body itself. there's basically no way binary sex & nonbinary gender can coexist
