Ideally as AI tech improves, we'll be able to have posts filtered by LLMs instead of just by engagement.

I'm pretty certain it is already a simple matter for AI to identify posting like this with a simple prompt. I assume it's just a matter of lowering token cost.
Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

Nah, this is a good vision. It's compelling. It's not horny. It's not an uncanny person, but it's not an anime character either, nor is it completely emotionless. It's appropriately like a genie.

I'm not sure if people understand the import of labeling laws, especially ones that would apply to *the entirety of the European Union*.

The TOC for plant-based meat is very contingent on whether it is perceived as *other types of meat* or as vegan food.

The weird thing about the far left is that what I'm guessing they are about - more redistribution - is not what they talk about. Spreading the wealth is a very coherent and straightforward view.

But far leftists (all except Bernie!) don't seem to champion anything, they just oppose stuff.

World AI race faces hurdle as effective altruism movement opposes Trump
NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! FIRST ON FOX: President Donald Trump’s push to establish "America’s global AI dominance" could run into friction from an unlikely source: the "effective altruism" movement, a small but influential group that has a darker outlook on artificial intelligence. Trump signed an executive order earlier this year titled, "Removing Barriers to American Leadership in Artificial Intelligence." This week he met with top technology industry leaders, including Mark Zuckerburg, Bill Gates and others, for meetings at the White House in which AI loomed large in the discussions.

I'm always on the look out for hot takes to spice up discourse on this app...this might be it.

This isn't obviously a bad act imo.
1. I simply dislike museums.
2. But also, I don't understand why they should receive government support. They seem like a private good to me, mostly not a public one.
"Yesterday, we received notice from the federal government that our grant had been terminated and part of the reasoning was that we no longer align with the White House policies.”

Should you give to household name charities? Probably not

Why? Because they are typically MANGOs - Multi-Armed NGOs

But what's the MANGO problem? We explain in a new blogpost: www.happierlivesinstitute.org/2025/04/02/w...
Why household name NGOs are unlikely to offer the best value for money - Happier Lives Institute
This article explains why household name charities like Oxfam (called MANGOs) don't offer the best value for money.

I'm actually sorta for something like this.

The problem is that MAGA implementation is bound to be overly zealous and trollish. Nuance? Big words, difficult concepts? Forget it.
