Iranian forces have seized the Marshall Islands–flagged oil tanker Talara in the Strait of Hormuz.

A U.S. official said the ship was intercepted while traveling from Ajman in the UAE to Singapore, with three small boats involved, as reported by security firm Ambrey.

The situation in #Mali is a reminder that #drones and drone warfare - all else remaining equal (intelligence, military capacities, governance/politics, counterinsurgency strategies etc) is really far from being a game changer for embattled rgimes.

IS-SP has issued a statement confirming the capture of Tigou from their rival JNIM killing 36 enemy militants in the process.
Reports of fighting started on the 08.11 around locations near Gorgadji in Séno province including reports that a JNIM commander had been killed.

Three hostages held by the JNIM in Mali were released after a record ransom, estimated between 50 and 70 million dollars.
Malian authorities also negotiated the release of terrorist prisoners in exchange for allowing fuel convoys to reach the capital.
