The X-men comics are very socially conscious, all the major storylines are about prejudice.

Or aliens.

Or time travel.

The whole wedding arc is spectacular. Our final appearance of ROM in person in the MU... thus far.

Alien waifu.

"No I swear she's real. She's a princess from space and she has an ass that is unreal and she lives in space"
"Okay Charles let's get you to bed"

This happened due to a confluence of reasons but the most important was me re-reading some classic issues due to Dave Cockrum's birthday. This Chuck is definitely based on his take on the character, mostly inspired by his splash pages and covers with Xavier.

Dave Cockrum fucking rules.

Does Chip Zdarsky count as a superhero or is he more of a sitcom character?

Tapestry? Yeah I can see the correlation.

The WildCATs/Cyberforce fill-ins with the original characters that Claremont never ended up getting into their own series are pretty fascinating since they are so obviously just setup.

Yes, though that is still a 90's comic. Ended in 1998

the use of negative space there is BRILLIANT. it's not just the usual way but incorporated into a full action scene and the red really sells it as a dangerous situation

If anything it feels more applicable right now.

I had no idea! Dude has secret powers!

And yeah, these are all fantastic.

I shall have to contribute something, at some point, especially since that little "favor" you did me.

Is the Vinson artist the same as our mutual here?

Also I remember seeing that Gamora, good lord.
