POTUS doesn't understand the difference between helping a population get what they want vs. telling them what they want.

Made worse by forcing things on a population.

Why it would matter what Trump or says about Ukraine?
He is obviously too dumb & ignorant to matter. (Welcome to Russia in Alaska!)
He has no bone in the game, having ended all US support for Ukraine.
He cannot even end the Western sanctions on Russia.
Trump is irrelevant for the war in Ukraine.

The US attacks on Iran have mainly done teo things.

1. Justified why nukes are critical weapons to have, to prevent larger powers from attacking. (Ukraine is in the same boat)

2. Further shred trust in the WH. They said 2 weeks, broke it.

Military analyst @anderspucknielsen.dk has a good new analysis of the situation in #Ukraine

An important aspect with Trump's current moves is that he's realised that US support for Ukraine isn't decisive if Ukraine can keep going, and thus he has no cards with Russia, and needs change tactics.

Considering the past 100days with the current US WH, striking the parade in any way is a risk UA has to consider if its worth taking. Why? POTUS has clearly shown his decisions are easily influenced by the now. A strike might be interpreted as unwillingness to move towards ceasefire.
💯👀 "Now the Russians are worried that their parade is in question, and rightly so. But they should be worried that this war is still going on. They must end the war," — Zelensky.

Crimea Declaration

July 25 2018:

russia, through its 2014 invasion of Ukraine and its attempted annexation of Crimea, sought to undermine a bedrock international principle shared by democratic states: that no country can change the borders of another by force.

In this video, I discuss the rumors of an upcoming Russian spring offensive in #Ukraine. It seems likely that they will throw significant resources into this because Putin's war narrative demands that the Russian army continues to make progress almost regardless of the costs.

Once again the #RareEarth / #MineralsDeal pops up, now including pipe lines.

I wonder what would happen if #UA offered a #GoodDeal to #US, in return for supplies and guarantees. And this backed by a Consession platform, where it's all returned to UA in 50 years.

One more nail in the "international relations" coffin.
1/ The Trump Administration is seeking to force foreign companies worldwide to ban diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programmes within their firms if they want to do business with the US government. It's an aggressive expansion of its anti-DEI crusade. ⬇️

"The biggest flaw in the American analysis of the situation is that this is a war about defining a border... but that's not what this war is about. The war (in Ukraine) is about the political control of all of Ukraine"

Ukraine on US Hostile Countries list? Mentioned today on the podcast Ukraine: The Latest today (2025.03.24@19:25)

A listener wrote in, telling that after donating via PayPal, bank called. US gov office of Foreign asset control demanded to know where money were sent.

Is this true, is UA on a list?

Allies of the #USA will have to re-evaluate, and evaluate future defense purchases and cooperation. This is one of multiple risk factors the current WH are imposing, that can and will limit national defence capabilities for the allies.

The Kremlin's statement following Donald Trump's call with Putin differs from the White House version. The Russian account includes a requirement for a 30-day truce: halting mobilization in Ukraine, suspending military aid to Ukrainian forces, and ceasing intelligence sharing.

Today WH and Kremlin will talk. Keep in mind that nothing they agree to is binding for #Ukraine. Same goes for #Russia, they have to agree to the conditions, for a #ceasefire. If the terms aren't agreed to by both parties, no ceasefire.
