As events go, I think DC K.O. represents the widest disconnect between marketing and publishing since Heroes in Crisis. There are some people at DC who understand the appeal of a tournament arc, and others who are either unaware or unwilling to earnestly translate that.

Oh look, MORE BATMAN.
Honestly, a few decades ago I wouldve killed for this and it does makes sense: One to establish Azrael to general audiences, and one for each subsequent part of the story.
But the quality of both animation and adaptation of these has gone SO down since 2013

Apropiada a la primera de las contiendas que Donna menciona: — la primera prueba es la de velocidad y agilidad, solo mantente atenta a los obstáculos, pisa firme y estarás bien — espero que mi madre no reconozca alguno de mis movimientos —dice Diana preocupada, teniendo dudas sobre esto ahora que no esta solo pensando en Donna — no te preocupes por tu madre—la intenta tranquilizar Circe —ella no podrá estar presente PANEL 2 Circe da una forzada, y muy mala, sonrisa macabra o maniaca. Claramente exagerada para aligerar el humor en lugar de honesta — una de nuestras hermanas, misteriosamente, cayó en el río sur, la reina era la más cercana y tiene que ir a atenderla PANEL 3 Diana la mira aterrada y pregunta — Circe… ¿Qué fue lo que hiciste? — obviamente… mentí —dice la pelirroja con total seriedad PANEL 4 — ¡Hera! ¿Realmente creíste que tiraría a una de mis hermanas al rio?! —responde igual maneras sorprendida como ofendida — no, por supuesto que no, lo lamento. Mis nervios están hablando por mí PANEL 5 Diana se pone el casco una sombra cubre su rostro de manera perfecta y da el primer paso fuera — Ahora —empieza a decir Circe —por una vez, no pienses en lo que tu madre te dirá y da todo de ti misma — muéstrales quien es la mujer más rápida de esta isla—le da ánimos Donna PANEL 1 We see the three sisters in a brown tent. Diana is holding the helmet that completes a very light suit of armor, designed for running rather than combat. Appropriate for the first of the challanges that Donna mentions: "The first test is speed and agility. Just watch for obstacles, step firmly, and you'll be fine." "I hope my mother doesn't recognize any of my movements," Diana says worriedly, having second thoughts about this now that she´s not solely thinking about Donna. "Don't worry about your mother," Circe tries to reassure her "She won't be able to be there." PANEL 2 Circe gives a forced, and very bad, macabre or maniacal smile. Clearly exaggerated to lighten the mood, not an honest one. "One of our sisters mysteriously fell into the southern river. The queen was the closest, so she has to go and treat her." PANEL 3 Diana looks at her, terrified, and asks, "Circe... What did you do?" "Obviously... I lied," the redhead says non chalantly PANEL 4 "Hera! Did you really think I'd throw one of my sisters into the river?!" She responds, equally surprised and offended. "No, of course not, I'm sorry. My nerves are speaking for me." PANEL 5 Diana puts on her helmet, a shadow covers her face perfectly, and takes the first step outside. "Now..." Circe begins, "for once, don't think about what your mother will say and give it your all." "Show them who the fastest woman on this island is," Donna encourages her.

PANEL 1 — Vamos a entrar — asegura la princesa — ¿Todavía intentas encontrar mi carbón? —pregunta Donna Diana claramente busca pistas contextuales, pero no teniendo memoria alguna de aquella noche de ebriedad no capta lo que Donna está remembrando— N-no estoy segura lo que significa eso, pero te sigo repitiendo, nunca te voy a dejar atrás A lo lejos, Calista regresa PANEL 2 La cachorra tiene uno de los palitos con la bandera verde, un pedazo de ropa rasgada roja, y una sandalia azul PANEL 3 Diana la mira con manos en la cintura — Una de tres, vamos mejorando Pero Donna se percata de algo que la princesa no — ¿e-esa es la sandalia de Philippus? PANEL 4 Donna y Circe salen corriendo — ¡¿A dónde van a ir?! —grita Diana —¡¿Quién más en esta isla tiene un perro de tres cabezas?! PANEL 5 — ¡Solo tú! Responde Crice ya a la distancia, Diana queda pensativa intentando figurar que quiso decir con eso PANEL 6 Hasta que se da cuenta — ¡Traidoras! Grita sacudiendo el puño en el aire PANEL 1 “Let’s go in,” the princess assures. “Are you still trying to find my coal?” Donna asks. Diana is clearly looking for contextual clues, but having no memory of that drunken night, she doesn’t grasp what Donna is recalling. “I-I’m not sure what that means, but I keep telling you, I’m never leaving you behind.” In the distance, Calista returns. PANEL 2 The puppy has one of the green flag sticks, a piece of torn red clothing, and a blue sandal. PANEL 3 Diana looks at her, hands on her hips. “One of three, we’re getting better.” But Donna notices something the princess doesn’t. “I-is that Philippus’s sandal?” PANEL 4 Donna and Circe run off. “Where are you going?!” Diana yells. “Who else on this island has a three-headed dog?!” PANEL 5 “Only you!” Crice responds from a distance. Diana remains thoughtful, trying to figure out what she meant by that. PANEL 6 Until she realizes: "Traitors!" She shouts, shaking her fist in the air.
