David Lynch is recalling a day in 1951 when, he says, he "rescued" five Woody Woodpecker toys that he saw hanging up as he drove past a petrol station. "I screech on the brakes, I do a U-turn, go back and I buy them and I save their lives," he says seriously. "I named them Chucko, Buster, Pete, Bob and Dan and they were my boys and they were in my office. They were my dear friends for a while but certain traits started coming out and they became not so nice." Looking straight ahead he says with a grim finality: "They are not in my life anymore"

i know i keep repeating myself like a broken record but fellow white cis people it is your moral and ethical responsibility to defend anyone who is being attacked for being not a white cis person. if they want respectability i'll give it to them but not the way they want it

to be loved is to be changed
Fishtopher, a brown and black striped tabby cat. He lays in the shelter next to a chrome bowl. His large head is hung low to the floor of the kennel, as he looks up with sad green eyes and very large, round cheeks. His ears are slightly down and his mouth looks small and almost like a frown. He protects his body with his round tail in a very sad, closed off manner. Fishtopher, a brown and black striped tabby cat, now in his forever home. He stands up and leans against the couch but the lower half of his body is blocked by the camera person's leg. He looks slightly upward with large, sparkling green eyes. His ears are pointed up and forward and his mouth is almost in a wide smile. His pink nose is a much brighter pink now, and his large cheeks are still large, but smaller in comparison.
