One of my longtime soapboxes is that more progressives need to run for sheriff because it’s an immensely powerful position with immediate impact over the lives of folks in custody but nobody wants to run for top cop

As Wired reported yesterday, many of the DOGE dipshits are now full-time government employees pulling the highest possible salaries.
