I’m deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Sir Professor Geoff Palmer KT.
He was not only a distinguished scientist & academic, but also a courageous voice for justice & equality.
My sincere condolences to his family & all who knew and admired him.
May his soul rest in peace. 🕊️

I’m not sure I’ve ever been to a bad concert. Sound at Iron Maiden at the Hydro in 2017 was a bit sludgy but that’s about it.

I hate to say it, but talking at the Barras is becoming endemic. It was irritating at the, really very loud, Self Esteem gig but at the, sometimes very very quiet, Father John Misty gig it was a real evening spoiler.

I hate to say it, but talking at the Barras is becoming endemic. It was irritating at the, really very loud, Self Esteem gig but at the, sometimes very very quiet, Father John Misty gig it was a real evening spoiler.

just made myself a fourth coffee at 4pm to get my brain to work and I, for one, feel confident in saying that this time - this time! - an additional mid-afternoon coffee will make me more productive, and will not instead make me anxious as all hell, then entirely unable to sleep tonight
