if anyone wants to be my guinea pig do let me know
working on a scepticism 'beat the demon' type interactive fiction game using twine to try and make the theoretical content of the 'limits of knowledge' section of the a-level a little less intimidating and fun lemme tell you it's gonna take me weeks but it'll be so worth it

currently recording the final two eps of epistemology, scripting a bonus episode for those left wanting by the course's sceptical solutions, and prepping an important special intro to social epistemology for an assessment that will be released after grading! - hot BIV summer is here, stay tuned ☕
April 22, 2025 at 1:10 PM
planning on potentially releasing a silly little filler episode tomorrow for fun if I have time as I'll be able to put more time into the main series after this week - it's an 'I have identified 25 descartes coded songs I have to share with you guys and justify' kind of silly little filler episode
April 2, 2025 at 10:25 PM
a creative summative I have at the moment fits in perfectly with a bonus ep I had in mind so if all goes well I'll release an extended version as an episode and break down a whole branch* of epistemology not covered in the pod's main series in 30 mins or less

logic is literally magic:

-you have a cool rune language (⊥→∀x∃y(x=y) etc.)

-and spells in Latin:
modus ponens!
Ex contradictione quodlibet!

-and ancient scriptures which almost everyone has forgotten (Principia Mathematica).

as an empiricist I am clearly not doing a good job at converting people to team 'boo descartes' but I have to give respect where it's due for the first response to last episode's poll being a commitment to rationalism in the face of its critics!

How can we truly understand our inner voices? | buff.ly/3DklPa9

Join Steve Taylor, Jack Symes, Anneli Jefferson, and Frank Tallis as they debate if the inner voice can serve as a tool of our conscience, guiding our inner lives.

The real me
Many identify themselves with their inner voice - the silent voice in our heads we can use to think, plan and ponder. But from Lacan to Nietzsche many have warned this inner voice is not ourselves,…
