Very insistent on giving myself the tenderness I desire in this lifetime which for me shows up as listening to music that pull my heart strings, surrounding myself with as much color and art as possible, sending sweet texts to my trans and queer kin, and of course, reading books that bring me joy 💘

This barrage of attacks on trans rights & personhood is intended to terrorize, divide & conquer us. Under siege, the tendency toward panic, paranoia & blame is intensified. So is the reflex towards apathy & dissociation. Neither will save us. We need to be emotionally centered & engaged
