A new image from JWST, showing the barred spiral galaxy NGC 2283 in all its infrared glory.

The galaxy is approximately 57,000 lightyears (ly) across, and located 48 million ly away.

This image is a combination of frames taken by JWST's mid- and near-IR instruments.
