My child says she’d rather die than be forced to go through male puberty.

Genital and breast surgeries on transgender children are not happening. My trans child really wants surgery sooner, but know that will not happen until they are at least 18.

Parent rights are not being argued in this case, writing as a parent of a trans child who is pissed about losing the right to make healthcare decisions at the recommendation of her physician.

I'm just out of oral arguments, and wow. They're really arguing trans people's humanity.

The primary question for the conservative justices seems to be whether states can terribly harm transgender minors to protect detransitioners.
