hey @erinbiba.bsky.social ! I am trying to find a good solution for collaborative research across a reasonably large team (30ish folks) - ideally, I think I am looking for something to map out research sub-projects, record results, and document definitions and preferred methodologies.

Thoughts?

This sounds bad, because kids could easily rack up payments without realizing and companies will use this to push more expensive digital shit - but you haven't even given companies a chance to create gig-jobs that only earn credits against debts to skirt labor laws?

Except the real Silicon Valley model of consent is to secretly opt you into changes to the agreement and then blame the user for not understanding how to undo the opt-in/make it too late for an opt-out to matter.

Can't wait for the sharpie edit of these reports to tell us what we should *really* be thinking about these economic indicators
While Trump has driven a wedge in America’s longtime trade and military alliances, he continues brushing off high unemployment and “stagflation."

Instead, he insists that “we’re gonna have boomtown USA. We’re gonna boom.”

Yes! Bias will always exist & recognizing which biases are permeating into our systems of govt & enabling us to discount the hardships of others is key to ensure we are working for the betterment of our entire society.

Hmm, if only there were an easy way to determine who should get due process and who shouldn’t? Just think, if we applied that across all courts it would free up so much bandwidth!

Musk's approach in Twitter, DOGE and all of his endeavors reveals that he fundamentally does not believe in a business model that succeeds outside of explicit exploitation and does not understand the value of labor.
Reading ‘Character Limit’, the book on Musk’s Twitter takeover, and it’s astonishing how many of his dumb stunts he’s repeating at DOGE. The “fork in the road” email, the “5 things” email, firing essential workers he had to hastily hire back. Guy has one playbook and it’s “fucking up spectacularly.”
