Covid Aware & Informed 😷 Particular interest in the cardiovascular impacts of SARs-Cov-2
Had to go into a services. A busy indoor place, poor ventilation, viruses so I put on a respirator. Within seconds a male walked past & said “a Covid thing? My god”. It struck me how much this mentality was relied upon to “erase” Covid & how easy it’d be to go along with it.

How I wish people cared about education and didn’t obsess over school. They are not always one & the same. Kids deserve options for how they fulfil THEIR right to education. But the new head of OFSTED will not tolerate “unorthodox” learning. It’s like Victorian Britain lives on in so many ways.

None of these are good viruses to get, and now we have flu and RSV during their season *and* SARS-CoV-2 year-round. And this is about short-term effects, not what happens with repeat infections over the longer term. And more people get SARS-CoV-2, way more often.

Study: Higher risk of accompanying bacterial infections with flu, RSV than SARS-CoV-2
But the risk of bacterial infections in COVID-19 patients was substantially elevated after 48 hours compared with the other viruses.

One mutation. One single mutation. In an environment in which H5N1 is infecting multiple species (including humans) and a vast total number of infections.

Just one mutation can make H5N1 bird flu a threat to humans, California researchers say
The Scripps Research Institute finding counters prevailing thought that the virus would require multiple mutations before it poses a threat to public health.

My child has CCHD. He is not warned to avoid Covid. We are not told it causes cardiac changes/harm. We are told cardiac kids “fare well”. I research it myself!
If we are not told the facts about Covid, what hope has the rest of the population?

When dairy cows in Texas began falling ill with H5N1, alarmed veterinarians expected a fierce response to contain an outbreak with pandemic-sparking potential. Then politics—and, critics say, a key ag...

Nothing makes me more apprehensive regarding H5N1 than human cases in which the route of infection is unknown. The previously hospitalised patient in Missouri in August. The Canadian teenager with severe illness. Now the child in California.

Was it always acceptable for parents to drag their obviously ill child, with a productive, hacking cough; out and about in the cold to cough over anybody who happens to cross their path?! I encountered 3 today. Streaming noses. Phlegmy coughs. Watery eyes. 😩. I’d never take my child out like that!

TL;DR

The CDC is recommending pneumococcal adult vaccine at 50 yrs instead of 65yrs because we are getting sicker 15 years younger than before.

And that’s only after 5 years of pandemic fun.

Just wait till you see what happens next.

“Only the vulnerable” is still the mantra. Outdated & incorrect. Barely anyone has a clue that Covid infections impacts are not limited to the acute. That Covid can & does make you vulnerable too. But ppl don’t want to know. Even when it’s happening to them.

To be committed to prevention you have to acknowledge the triggers of ill health. You have to act. You have to PREVENT what you can. So be doggedly avoiding any meaningful action on the latest modern day health catastrophe that is Covid, is either woefully incompetent or deliberate or indeed both!
1. For a government committed to a policy of moving from a treatment to prevention model in the NHS, this makes no sense (vaccination is obviously a powerful preventative intervention). It betrays a focus that is entirely on acute Covid-19 disease.

Not the same genotype that is infecting dairy cattle and dairy workers in the US. Responsible for poultry outbreaks in Canada.

I feel like I am a character in a dystopian movie. We have a big chance of facing soon a pandemic with a virus that scientists know is highly neuroinvasive. H5Nx viruses like #H5N1 were already found in all the regions in the brain below. Where are the vaccines, bloody hell?!?!

Just reminding you, if you think #COVID was bad, that's because you never imagined a pandemic with a virus that is AIR- and FOOD-borne at the same time, like #H5N1.
