We need a mass movement within states to make Citizens United irrelevant. Until then, we will have kings and remain surfs ruled by techno-bro power.

The Corporate Power Reset That Makes Citizens United Irrelevant
By using their authority to define what corporations are—and what powers they hold—states can end the era of corporate and dark money in U.S. politics.

It seems like we get two choices: neoliberalism or neoliberalism with a side of white supremacy. Seems like most of us are tired of these choices and yearning for an alternative.

If an insurance company is going to deny your healthcare claim, they should have a darn good reason for it.

Under my plan, if an insurance company is denying Wisconsinites’ claims too often, we’re going to audit them. Pretty simple.

This is how the wealthy and their GOP party want American workers. They want them desperate and poor so they accept unsafe working conditions and low wages. This is what we fight for. I am ashamed of any worker or a 99 percenter who votes for any Republican.

In addition to the court system, we can influence business and markets. Buy local if you must buy. Buy from states that are using their power to hold this administration accountable with lawsuits, avoid states that are abetting criminal activity.
Choose where you shop very carefully. We still have the power of the purse.

Elon Musk has barged into DOL, which also oversees the Bureau of Labor Statistics—that's a huge deal. He could manipulate quarterly job numbers and much more. We are talking about MARKET MOVING INFORMATION! Do employers want Musk to have access to any of their confidential data?

Comments like Sen John Barrasso’s “I think the administration has every right to demand accountability and transparency in all these programs,” falsely imply that we don’t already have a robust monitoring and evaluation system in place for federal programs.

Republicans in Congress mostly shrug as Musk and DOGE set sights on spending
Congress controls the power of the purse, but Republicans on Capitol Hill have put up little resistance to efforts by the administration to suspend spending that they've already approved.
