I have only read bits of the report into the Church of England's handling of sex abuse. It's clearly a grim episode, but it looks to me unfair to accuse Justin Welby of a cover-up

Nick Timothy/Telegraph/Mail claiming it's cheaper to keep people claiming asylum (not "illegal migrants") in hotels indefinitely at taxpayers' expense rather than processing their claims, allowing them to work, etc.

This is lunacy, our biggest and closest market is Europe. The Pacific would be nice but eventually the EU is going to do a deal with them and it will be better than anything we can achieve. How can Labour do this to our young people?
