Developer. I like cool $hit.
Damn, I posted something about disliking how Tailwind looks in my HTML and all the jr devs of the world went insane on Threads, like: "mustn't deviate from popular public opinion... growl!". I don't understand how society got to this place where personal preference must be argued, 😂

Personally, I've always loved writing CSS, but Tailwind got so huge for some reason. Now every codebase I open up has stuff that looks like this. Ridiculous 🤣. Now, you don't know what is going on until you mentally evaluate every token! I prefer the days of having a class with a descriptive name.

Cloudflare down is ridiculous. I never even thought that could happen. They handle a full 20% of the entire internet!

3 hours of battling git reflogs and doing git cherry-pick hash, all because I let this AI terminal thing autocomplete the branch name doing a git pull. It was wrong! I merged a way different branch and it took 3 hours to get back to where I was before I tried to pull my colleagues changes. AI ... F.

It's going to be one of those days where I argue with AI, and listen to Madonna's La Isla Bonita and recall a much simpler time.

As much as I like TypeScript and all, I sure feel warm and fuzzy when I get to just use normal Javascript.

This is pretty awesome: medium.com/@arnoldgunte... media queries that I've never heard of, but are freaking fantastic for testing if certain accessibility features are enabled or even mouse pointer precision! #BadassCSS

Insurance companies are the fucking devil. Your rates went up 21.5% if you are on an individual plan, 12.7% if you are on a group plan with an employer on average.

My mind was completely blown this morning when I found out that in Javascript, the var keyword is actually more performant than let and const!! Don't get me wrong, this isn't enough reason to migrate my codebase to var, but it is interesting.

Sometimes I get careless with exclamation points when I send emails. Kinda changes the whole meaning of what I am trying to say, lol

Sometimes AI is cool and actually helps me to do things. Sometimes, it's a ridiculous asshole with horrible ideas. I think that's what people have to remember.

F yeah Lancaster! I'm digging that town more and more all the time.

Wow, I was in a rush and tried to give a message to a teammate a thumbs up 👍 emoji, but accidentally used my other commonly used emoji the 🖕! Thank goodness it lets you change it. I hope they didn't see that before I realized it, lol.

When will they stop putting billionaire interests above their own? Do you think the masses will ever realize that it's hurting us all in the end? 😢

Here's one to ponder 🤔: dailygalaxy.com/2025/09/no-w...

What's to say that this hasn't been done before? Maybe thousands of years ago, from a different solar system to here. Then as we evolved for Earth and lost all recollection of our previous life, we thought to do it again?
No Way Back: Meet Chrysalis, the 36-Mile Starship Designed to Carry 1,000 Humans Away From Earth—Forever

This is a pretty great article explaining the social engineering techniques that will work to get your favorite AI chats to do things it's not supposed to do, lol. arstechnica.com/science/2025... Will have to try using some of these.

Study shows how patterns in LLM training data can lead to “parahuman” responses.
